Matthew has been involved in Project Management, Project Planning and 4D planning for over 20 years in Australia and abroad.In March 2024 Matt joined Hansen Yuncken as Planning Manager initially working on the Adeney Private Hospital in Kew and Bills St social and affordable housing in Hawthorn.Recently working as a Program Manager in the Coles National Production team responsible for planning and delivering capital works modernisation programs for supply chain at Coles.Prior to Coles Matt has been working for Leighton Contractors (now CPB) in Melbourne as a Senior Planner in the Buildings and Civils Group up until August 2014. Matt has spent time assisting in the management and construction planning for the New Karolinska Solna Hospital in Stockholm Sweden, a US$2B PPP project for Skanska. Specifically focusing on the detailed production planning of groundworks substructure, precast frame, facade and detailed fitout of the main 600 bed hospital.For the previous three years Matt has been working with TBH a leading strategic management consultancy in Australia. Matt joined Tracey, Brunstrom & Hammond in January 2008 to build a team of 4D modellers and BIM implementers. His aim was to create an industry-leading service, offering 4D visualisations built upon a solid programming capability in which TBH has over 45 years experience. From November 2009 to July 2010 Matt has been assisting NBN Co with setting up a the PMO and planning of the national construction staging plus setting up a planning and reporting framework for the construction delivery. Overseas, Matt has worked on large construction and civil projects up to £8B like Heathrow Terminal 5 Airport, Dublin International Airport expansion, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link 22km road bridge. This international experience on large projects has enabled Matt to be exposed to industry leading 4D ‘time phased virtual construction methodology visualisations’ and he is now working to develop Australia’s 4D capability.Specialties: Programming in MS Project as well as one of Australias leading 4D Modelling experts.
