Physician Assistant
Current• Gather medical history, conduct physical examinations, deliver differential diagnoses, and perform assessments. • Conduct pre-employment, Department of Transportation, and sports physicals from a diverse patient population. • Act as an urgent care clinician and conduct special procedures, including but not limited to, suturing, care of burns and wounds, incision and drainage of lesions, foreign body removal, and subungual hematoma evacuation. • Formulate treatment plans and provide referrals as required. Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic imaging studies. • Diagnose, treat, and manage Workers’ Compensation injuries; conduct focused assessments of industrial related injuries and managed care plans. • Assess patients suffering from work-related injuries, develop treatment plans, and prepare patients in successfully returning to work.• Build rapport with patients and family members; educate patients and their caregivers on medical processes, medication administration, and medical diagnoses.• Achieved 4-Star Clinician Status all four quarters of 2019. • Trained to perform in a special capacity with the City of Cleveland Medical Bureau. • Generated a great amount of revenue for the Urgent Care Center by delivering exemplary patient services and quality patient care.
