With over two decades of dedicated service at OAISD, I have built a career centered around fostering inclusive, high-quality educational experiences for children and young adults. Starting as a special education teacher, I developed a deep commitment to supporting diverse learning needs. As a home visiting coordinator, I extended my reach to provide essential resources and guidance directly to families, ensuring children and families received the support they needed at home.My journey continued as I took on the role of assistant director, where I honed my leadership skills. Currently, as the Director of Early Childhood Services, I am privileged to lead a passionate team committed to creating nurturing and enriching environments for our youngest learners. My experience across these various roles has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of early childhood education, and I am dedicated to advocating for policies and practices that promote equity, access, and excellence for all children.
