Ensure Di-Trash is completed on a daily basis to include bldgs. 378, 250 and 463. When called upon, assist and help resolve computer problems at different buildings. Supply Technician
As a Supply Technician working for the Advance Traceability and Control (ATAC), I am responsible for obtaining and posting shipping information into the E-Retrograde Management System (e-RMS). On a daily basis I answer questions from customers of various sites providing them with information requested, communicate with the Transportation Officer/ Transportation Assistant daily. I utilize syncada, FedEx, DHL and Miramar transportation web sites to gather information and update the system. I schedule commercial carriers for movement of material, Ready for Install (RFI) and Re-distribution Order (RDO) material including all routing, tracking and consolidations. I ensure all shipments are released according to the applicable directives. I utilize the Automated Export System (AES) website to process exportation documentation for international shipments. Verify that shipments are picked up and delivered. Post proof of shipment (POS) and proof of delivery (POD) on eRetrograde Management System. If material is lost, I conduct research, place traces and file claims as necessary. I receive Non-Ready for Issue (NRFI) Depot Level Repairable turn-in documents; review the turn-in documents for completeness such as, document identifier, national stock number (NSN), and document number, and COG, quantity and condition code. I enter all pertaining data into the Advance Traceability and Control (ATAC) database to indicate items were received and /or shipped to other (Depot Overhauls Points or Depot Storage Points). I Utilize the Master Repairable Item List (MRIL) to ensure material is shipped to the correct destination. I Access the Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA), Defense Automatic Addressing System Center Inquire (DAASCINQ), and the Financial and Air Clearance Transportation System (FACTS) to perform daily duties. All data must be entered with 100% accuracy. I also prepare shipping material and label documentation for shipping.

By enforcing Technical Manual Conversion/Preparation for Web Posting Policy the turnaround time for posting was reduced not exceed 5 working days. Contact the Logistics Element Manager or the Data Manager to coordinate corrections to technical manuals if needed. Offer logistic support to anyone who requests training. Mainly responsible for complete website quality assurance (QA) of all delivered technical manuals, this includes page checking, book marking, Interim Rapid Action Change (IRAC) incorporation and ensuring we have the most current change available. Cancel manuals when requested by the (LEM) Logistic Element Manager thru the Technical Manual Application Systems (TMAPS). Provide excellent customer service. Communicate on a daily basis via email, phone or in person. Resolve concerning problems within (NATEC’s) Naval Air Technical and Engineering Service Command website. NATEC currently hosts 13,553 technical manuals which are viewable on the website.
