Hi, I'm Max R. Nelson, a dedicated film studies major with a passion for all things cinema. I work at WOSU as a TV production student assistant, where I get hands-on experience in television production. I also founded and served as president of the Film Club at Columbus State Community College, where I fostered a community of film enthusiasts and organized screenings and discussions to deepen our collective appreciation and understanding of cinema. My love for filmmaking began in childhood, making videos that ignited my creative spirit. I draw inspiration from directors like Ridley Scott, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Christopher Nolan, whose films have profoundly influenced my perspective on narrative and visual style. With a strong foundation in film history, theory, and criticism, I bring a keen analytical eye and a deep appreciation for the art of cinema.
