Directed QA efforts on multiple teams for iOS, Android, and web products. Owned and managed my teams' manual testing, Jira tickets, TestRail cases and plans. Represented QA in product meetings, planned and ran bi-weekly releases, and helped manage manual testing contractors in India.

Joined Dev team after acquisition of Current TV to aid in transition period. Work included Ruby on Rails (with Heroku, Git), Quartz Composer with Kinect integration, and Brightcove's Media API.

Some automated white-box testing in Selenium RC (PHP) and RSpec, some pair-programming on Rails projects, some website analysis and design, a fair amount of project/build management (Pivotal Tracker, Fogbugz, SVN, Git, Hudson), but mostly lots of manual black-box testing. Platforms covered: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE, iOS.

Tested features and bug fixes in the company's web marketing tool both manually and in a large, automated test suite framework. Tests were PHP scripts that used Selenium Remote Control, documented in Jira and Testrun. Engineering team was completely self-organized and operated under Agile/Scrum, with QA strongly involved in team discussions and decisions.

Part-time job on campus; assisting the IT department's instructional lab manager with important tasks such as lab maintenance and workstation testing.

Second co-op; worked with lead architect to develop company's main product, a metrics-tracking tool for online games. Also created small graphing program with Prefuse.

First co-op (paid internship for college credit). Helped to analyze and restructure back-end database for company's internal task-tracking tool. Later created form-based web tool (in Perl/CGI) for polling IT manager's vital tasks and network/user info.
