CurrentWhile in my final semester of art school I was hired by the County of Santa Clara, County Executive Office, in 1986 as the Graphic Designer. I left the county position to start the Max Davis Company in 1989. I freelanced for some ad agencies as i built my own client base the first few years. Designing primarily in the Performing Arts, Sports and Hospitality fields. Some of past and current clients include Nike, San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Sharks, Fairmont, Hilton, Sofitel Hotels, Norm Mineta International Airport, San Jose Symphony, San Jose Cleveland Ballet, Tech Museum, San Jose Museum of Modern Art and many non-profits.I design creative, unique and effective solutions to marketing challenges. Identity and creating Brand, the perception of your company, products and services is my forte. I also do photography, styling and art direction. Continuity through design is key as this messaging translates to trust and engagement. A major part of my success over the years is listening, punctuality, meeting budget, schedule, content strategy and the client relationship.
