Hello everyone!My name is Maxine Moore, and I am currently a senior at Wayne State University. I am also a member of the Women's Basketball team at WSU. I am majoring in Communication Studies. My whole life I have been told that I am a great "people person". I love conversing with people from all walks of life and hearing their stories as well as sharing my own. I am passionate about connecting with people in any way possible. I am also very passionate about the game of basketball. It is my dream to one day be able to teach the game to young women like myself, and to help them achieve all their goals and dreams in life through coaching. I have taken numerous communication classes ranging from interpersonal communication all the way to social media and communication. Taking these courses has allowed me to become proficient in different forms of writing, as well as becoming extremely confident in public speaking. I have also enjoyed writing for Detroit Mercy's Varsity News during my academic career. I look forward to making lots of wonderful connections!
