I am passionate about research and innovation in life science and I have the desire to work on the development and production of innovative tools to effectively and safely treat diseases that threaten life and public health. That's why I made my way in the ​​life sciences area. I am a biomedical and biotechnology scientist with a master's degree in science focused on virology and immunology.I worked for about 10 years as a laboratory technician and researcher, 8 of these 10 years were dedicated to virology and immunology research. I have more than 2 years of experience in molecular (DNA/RNA extraction and PCR/RT-PCR) and serological methodologies for the diagnosis of viral diseases (ELISA and PRNT) and practical experience in aseptic processing of assays with cell cultures and viruses following SOPs with attention to detail to ensure high quality processes. I have solid knowledge in molecular biology, immunology, virology, biosafety and Good Laboratory Practices. I also have experience in writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures and technical reports, managing and training people, planning and dividing activities, setting and meeting goals, managing priorities and time.I am a very proactive, collaborative, organized and determined person. I have a can do mentality focused on goals and results and I easily adapt to different situations, cultures and people. I enjoy teamwork, but I also feel comfortable working independently.
