My name is Mayra Salgado (she/her), and I am a first-generation Mexican-American Latina with over five years of experience working as a legal assistant/paralegal. I have shifted over to working in wealth management to further expand my knowledge in finance. I currently work as a Client Service Associate at Wealthspire Advisors. I am also a part-time Victim Information and Referral Advocate for the Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline. I hold a BS in Business Administration from Robert Morris University and a Master’s of Jurisprudence in Public Interest Law from DePaul University. I'm also a member in the Chicago Young Professionals Advisory Council for Mujeres Latinas en Accion where we engage with women from different backgrounds to come together and set up events to fundraise for Mujeres Latinas en Accion and their Domestic Violence Services.
