Maz Bednarczyk (they/them) leads U.S.-based and remote leadership & professional development programs under the Atlas Corps brand at Cultural Vistas. Since 2021, Maz has designed and delivered training courses, workshops, self-led activities, discussion groups, and community-building activities for 800+ early- and mid-career professionals working at mission-driven organizations such as BRAC, Norwegian Refugee Council, Women for Women International, Landesa, SOS Children's Villages, Heifer International, ECPAT, and more. Maz implemented educational programs funded by the U.S. Embassies in Pakistan, Madagascar, Indonesia, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Tunisia, Spain and Andorra. In providing state-of-the-art educational materials for program participants, Maz collaborated with lecturers and students at UPenn, American University, and Utah State University. Maz is a member of the European Trainer Network of EEE-YFU, UFacilitate, and YFU Poland, in which they served as the Board Chair in 2022-2023. Prior to this, Maz cooperated with an NGO supporting victims of human rights violations and hate crimes in Lithuania, and worked as a freelance publicist/radio commentator at LRT and language-minority media to advocate for gender and racial equity, social justice, and sustainable living.
