INscribe Digital helps hundreds of publishers distribute their titles to retailers. In addition to fine-tuning their digital works, publishing houses are often converting their backlog of physical books to digital formats. As retailers constantly evolve their technical and stylistic requirements, I've been helping our clients convert or repair their e-book files for distribution through our conversion partners. As temporary coverage in lieu of our team member's maternity leave, I've been working closely with publishers and our conversion partners to deliver well-designed, error-free fixed and reflowable epub and mobi files for distribution.

As an adjunct teaching assistant, I coached Ashford University students in writing assignments for entry and non-entry point online college courses. Much of my work included grading essays and research papers with effective feedback for improvement. The most fulfilling aspect has been providing this feedback in a positive tone to encourage and motivate students as they adjust to the learning process. Additional duties entailed helping students navigate the ecollege platform, providing supplemental materials, and updating instructors on student performance.

Managed digital asset management system content and metadata. Provided IT Help Desk support for DAM system for North America and EMEA users.QA, troubleshot, and tested DAM system enhancements, customizations, and updates.

As part of the content team, managed metadata for all existing and incoming ebook content. Managed bibliographic records for partners and provided cataloging assistance for e-books.

Trained and managed staff and student assistants in processing of all bibliographic records for online catalog, including searching, cataloging, exporting, and end processing. Performed original and midlevel cataloging. Assigned, proofread and verified subject headings, series, corporate titles, and personal names in MARC record format.Maintained online catalog's full text (PDF) and keyword indexing for digital collection.

Taught composition, creative writing and literature, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, comprehensive reading and articulate, cohesive composition.Read, proofread, edited and graded student essays and papers, and providing contextual, thematic and grammatical feedback.
