I am a friendly hand and support when you need it. I am a hardworking and never-finished guy. I smile in the morning and the evenings because I value making other people happy. I am a good colleague, but an even better friend. I don't stop when things get hard, though I am still very human when I stumble. But more than anything, I am an engineer. Truthfully, I always have been. Not because I understand the math, not because I am a certified EIT by the state of Arizona, and certainly not because I am graduating with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a 4.0 GPA. I am an engineer because I will work on a problem through long days and sleepless nights. I ask for help when I need it, not for the solution. All for the joy at the end of a deliverable knowing it was done to the absolute maximum of what I am capable of. I did this in school, in my community, and in my previous work, but I certainly will not stop there.While studying, I have worked both in retail and in industry with a significant overlap between the two. While working 20 - 40 hours a week, I managed a well-above-average school load and active participation in volunteer and leadership programs. My three years at Superior Industries as a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern transformed my engineering competency. While learning to draft, design, and analyze, I also received hands-on experience in fabrication, oral and written communication, and leadership development. Most recently, I have been working at Northrop Grumman refining my skills in advanced mechanical analysis benefitting projects that have very high-performance expectations. This has allowed me to better learn system processes and controls, CONOPs development, 3D CAD, GD&T, and the manufacturing practices used in space launch vehicles.Going forward, I am aiming to inspire future engineers and make the biggest impact I am capable of for the benefit of people. I am committed, experienced, and passionate about what I do and whom I work for.
