This role has granted me the oppourtunity to work one-on-one with the head of department for Transport Engineering and Transport & Main Roads Chair at QUT, Prof. Simon Washington. The research was focused on the use of energy in the transport system and has allowed me to further develop my skills in both data analysis and in technical writing.

This role has allowed me to gain real world experience working on construction projects around South-East QLD.I have gained experience in estimation of projects between $250k and $15mil and construction of projects between $1.5mil and $3mil.My largest projects have seen me maintaining site based activities on the construction of a series of subdivision, located at Narangba and Mango Hill.

This role had me oversee the Civil Engineering society at QUT. In my position as president I implemented a branding change as well as the introduction of academic and industry elements.I grew the clubs membership for 200%, the income revenue by 260% and the end of year financial position by 300%.I was also fortunate enough to be elected president of the Engineering Ball Committee of 2014, which was the largest on campus during the year and won Social Event of the Year at QUT.
