Leading the development and delivery of courses for Oxford Medical, one of the UK's oldest and most recognised professional medical careers development training companies.

I offered bespoke programmes and events to practitioners, their teams and their organisations to develop remarkable standards of care and service, collaborating with others as required. The results were improved performance, productivity and satisfaction for all concerned. My primary focus was upon communication, teamwork and ways of working.

I worked with eyecare professionals and their practices, supporting the definition, planning and realisation of strategies to transform the service to presbyopic patients. This resulted in improving patients lives and dramatically increasing business success to mutual benefit. I developed an expertise in multifocal contact lenses, as well as an understanding of the presbyopic patient, of consultative selling and of business-to-business influence.

Following the merger of D&A and Boots Opticians I played a leading role in the programme to create one "better than both business" with a 3 year plan. Working with a small team, this included the definition, clarification, co-ordination, set up and delivery of a large number of projects. I developed and implemented tools, structures and defined ways of working for the new business, providing support and challenge for all involved.
