I am the Program Coordinator for the Learning Technology and Design (LTEC) Master's program in the Teacher Education Department at Eastern Michigan University. In addition, I serve as the chair of the College of Education Council and serve the university as the interim Senior International Officer.

As the Senior International Officer (interim) my single mandate for the year was to lead a team of university-wide faculty toward the development of a strategic plan for a Center for Global Engagement. That plan was completed with 74 separate and measurable outcomes.

During the transition between the outgoing Dean of Graduate Studies and the incoming Vice Provost for Graduate Studies, in my role as a part time Faculty Associate I served as the Acting Director of all business that went through the Graduate School with the exception of doing any supervisory duties. This included assigning university fellowships, organizing the Graduate Research Fair, clarifying policy, advising the Graduate Council and all Graduate Coordinators on campus. I have since returned to my role as associate professor.

I taught many sections of the Teacher Education Department undergraduate technology course and several of the Masters courses offered by the Educational Media and Technology program.

As Director of Technology at the College of Education I worked to improve the overall use of technology in almost all aspects of academic life. I updated a computer lab, consulted on many research projects, infused technology into my own teaching and the teaching of my colleagues.
