I joined Molina Healthcare in 2024 through their Bright Health California Medicare acquisition (Central Health Plan and Brand New Day). My role expanded from strategic leadership of data integration services, to also providing jack-of-all-trades IT services throughout the corporate merger.Data integration activities across a dozen data domains for 20+ business area scrum teams within Molina. Our work hydrates data in to the core business systems.Maintaining business continuity and providing IT services for the legacy Brand New Day health plan. This includes everything from an inherited 40+ year old mainframe system to various Azure cloud resources. We modernize as new requests come up, versus building in the legacy environments.Hands-on work in Azure Databricks, typically using SQL, Python, and Scala. dbt for data model loading and maintenance of our own Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallion datamart layers. GitHub for all source control.Administration and development of a bespoke job automation platform. This system manages file transfers, databricks notebook executions, data ingestion, datamart loading, and outbound data integration file creation. Fully developed and hosted in Azure.

Expanded the team for future success, bringing the Integration Analyst headcount from 4 to 10 in support of the company's rapid growth and created a net-new four-person Azure software engineering team to build a bespoke integrations platform for Bright Health.Partnered with project management office to implement scrum framework for software engineering team. This led to a successful product launch of the integrations platform, on-time and on-budget. This effort reduced dependencies on external service providers, eliminating cash expense. The platform hosts hundreds of outbound data integrations in support of our members.

Developed and deployed business analyst program with new ERP leadership.Enhanced working relationship of the ERP team with multiple business lines within the medical center, becoming a trusted partner and liaison for the Information Technology division.
