Founded in 2003, Gianco Companies has a concentration in managing, developing, and investing in Boutique Lifestyle Real Estate Assets throughout the Tampa Bay area. With over 100 private offices and 800+ coworking members in the Tampa Bay area, Gianco has a massive network. In addition to the hospitality-focused businesses, Gianco has a real estate portfolio that includes 4 boutique hotels, 3 mixed-use office & retail assets, and is developing a new furnished Live-Work apartment, retail, and event building. Gries Investment Funds is a private debt and equity firm that focuses on both mezzanine lending and equity capital for lower middle-market companies. While interning at Gries Investment Funds, Michael had the opportunity to learn how to evaluate companies, basics of private equity, fundamentals of underwriting, types of asset classes, debt financing, capital structures, equity placement and more. Additionally, Michael sat in on deal discussions and negotiations, analyzed various deals, and learned hands on from Managing Partner & Founder - Bob Gries.

Focused on a concept called - Firkin Keg Management Solutions this fall. A "Firkin" is a small cask or keg. Firkin was an asset tracking platform developed to help Microbreweries track their kegs throughout the supply chain utilizing IoT technology.Awards:- 1st place in the University of Tampa wide pitch contest (CREATE) out of 25+ companies- 3rd place in the New Venture Expo at the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center out of around 30 companies

President of UT Entrepreneurs for the 2017-2018 academic year. UT Entrepreneurs serves as the student wing of the John P. Lowth Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Tampa which recently received an award for the Best Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program in the Country (USASBE), and the NASDAQ Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence (GCEC).

Launched "Bubble" in the spring of 2017, an app that simplified social connectivity, and provided hyper-local deals.
