My name is Md Sabbirul Islam, and I am a dedicated marine science researcher. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Marine Science at the University of Chittagong, specializing in aquaculture health management. My research addresses disease susceptibility in shrimp farming, a significant challenge in the aquaculture industry.Throughout my academic journey, I have gained expertise in bacterial culture and identification techniques, antibiotic susceptibility testing, and evaluating the microbial quality of shrimp species. My undergraduate thesis, titled "Bacterial Microflora and Antibacterial Susceptibility of Locally Available Commercial Shrimp Species of the Karnaphuli River," explored innovative strategies to mitigate shrimp and human pathogens, contributing to healthier and more sustainable aquaculture practices.In addition to my core research, I have enhanced my technical skills through workshops on bioinformatics, genome data analysis, DNA barcoding, and PCR techniques. These skills allow me to apply advanced methods to tackle aquaculture challenges. My active participation in environmental awareness campaigns and science carnivals has also developed my leadership and communication abilities, reflecting my commitment to science and community outreach. My efforts have been recognized with the National Science and Technology Fellowship from the Ministry of Science and Technology in Bangladesh.I am deeply committed to advancing aquaculture health management and promoting sustainable farming practices.
