During the summer of 2017 and spring of 2018, I worked for Rooftight Construction as their Creative Director. I was taken on the core team to work first for the head of marketing, then for their interior designer, a switch which was made to increase the challenge of my job. I worked with the team to generate social media content, write blog posts, create infographics, and general organization. Another part of my role was offering insight to the team, auditing their work habits to imprint the work ethic I learned largely from the International Baccalaureate Programme. I also was brought on to share my views on how to improve landing their company in the online sphere, as well as how to better improve their literature to create more dynamic engagement. I was extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with the team, as I felt it greatly increased my ability to work in a team environment. I also felt it was a tremendous opportunity to learn how to communicate my creative and literary abilities in a way which best served an industry which involves high-stakes purchases.
