Act as a strategic partner in the planning and execution of the firm’s Summer Internship Program across three regions (US, EMEA and APAC). In 2024, we will welcome approx. 2,000 interns globally.

The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is BNY’s one-year global rotational development program that aims to develop 25 high performing individuals. As part of the program, I completed three four-month rotations through Human Resources. Highlights from my experience included:Campus & Emerging Talent Programs- Managed the full cycle recruitment process for the Summer Internship Program through sourcing, screening, managing the interview process and extending offers for the Wealth Management business.- Organized and facilitated innovative virtual campus recruiting events to attract top emerging talent.- Designed the framework for two pipeline campus programs to build brand awareness and supprot the cultivation of freshmen and sophomore students. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion- Supported the DEI team in the EMEA region to execute initiatives with a focus of attracting, retaining, and promoting underrepresented racial groups in alignment with the firm's representation goals.- Led engagement and event planning with UK corporate partnerships to increase brand awareness and build a diverse pipeline of talent across all experience levels. Events included: webinar panels, career fair, work experience week, etc.- Provided strategic partnership and support to launch a pilot peer coaching program for Black & Latinx talentOnboarding Experience- Enhanced the onboarding webpage to consider the user experience, new joiner and hiring manager onboarding journey and brand nuances- Analyzed and updated the onboarding survey strategy to create an efficient method for collecting feedback and measuring the success of the onboarding process.

- Recruited prospective students through facilitating recruitment events- Facilitated the senior presentations event by setting deadlines and acting as the POC to 10-20 senior presenters, designing programs/marketing materials and moderating the event - Promoted from Student Worker to Student Director during the 2019 academic year

- Orchestrated the detailed inventory of the CFM Pittsburgh client accounts maintaining not in bank (NIB) investments - Generated and processed daily reports to ensure the mitigation of risk associated with core processing- Enhanced personal development by building a professional network of managers, senior leaders and Subject Matter Experts to learn all aspects of the financial services industry
