• Oversee the broad function of marketing and branding while providing employer and student support for Jobs4Govs with the purpose of increasing hiring outcomes for Austin Peay State University undergraduates and graduates for full-time positions and internships.• Develop yearly marketing plans to engage highlight employer postings of jobs and internships to students and alumni. • Develop professional correspondence and marketing pieces.• Serve as Internship Liaison between established employer internships and academic departments.• Maintain campus publications, social media, and departmental website.• Create and market correspondences with students, faculty/staff, and alumni regarding activities, employment and internship opportunities available through Career Services. • Create and maintain Jobs4Govs via the career management software. Jobs4Govs provides employers access to market positions to more than 19,000 APSU students and alumni. • Oversee the on-campus recruitment program via Jobs4Govs and provide logistical support to employers and donors.• Deliver career readiness workshops and training sessions to students and organizations.• Assist with resume and cover letter critiques, mock interviews and other related internship and job search student appointments.• Execute semester and yearly goals, as well as, any additional tasks assigned by the Director of the Career Services.

I write news, features and sports stories for this weekly paper at Fort Campbell, home to the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division. I design page layouts for the sports, news, leisure and community sections for the weekly edition using Adobe InDesign. I take photos and ready them for the print using Adobe Photoshop. I create other graphic elements as needed.. I promote the weekly edition and share information with the public using social networking tools, including Facebook and Twitter. I took the lead in producing several special sections for the paper during the past few years, most notably the 101st Airborne Division 70th Anniversary section.

Through a Kentucky Press Association internship, I wrote news and feature stories for the daily edition, as well as 10 in-depth articles for the paper’s annual special edition. I took photos to accompany my stories and participated in weekly staff meetings. I collected materials for reports on crime and courts, and attended city council, fiscal court and school board meetings.

I completed administrative and other computer-related tasks, and I wrote the college newsletter for faculty and alumni during the 2007-08 year.

I was a staff writer for the yearbook. I submitted stories, and I helped coordinate yearbook events and sales.

I worked as a news and sports reporter during my first Kentucky Press Association internship. I helped customers, rewrote press releases and designed pages.
