Baltimore Courtwatch started as a loose volunteer collective in 2017, but gained strong footing once the COVID lockdown began in early 2020. With everything moving to virtual, Baltimore City Circuit Court began to hold bail hearings via zoom. Courtwatch began to join those public calls, take notes, and report out on the observations through social media. Data collection and analysis quickly followed. I designed the data collection methods and ran the analysis myself. In Sept of 2021, I came on as Director of Operations and Analytics and successfully led the 501(c)3 application development and submission processes. My other responsibilities include:• Manage all finances of the organization, including donor management system• Complete all website content updates• Compile, analyze and report all quantitative data• Serve as the initial contact for all external partners/vendors• Establish and maintain partnerships with external data-centric partners• Manage all data sharing agreements and contracts with external partners/vendors• Develop and codify all organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maximize efficiency, including: document storage, volunteer onboarding, data collection, data methodologies• Design and implement report templates• Facilitate the development of the database• All other operational responsibilities

My position at Baltimore Action Legal Team (BALT) gave me the opportunity to streamline and codify the procedures of rapid response efforts and follow-up practices so that the staff can focus their efforts on the lives of the people behind the data. Additionally, I collaborated with local data-focused organizations to develop sound and robust quantitative analyses to be used for legislative advocacy efforts.

To assist IDA in achieving and maintaining accurate and regular data for its Membership department, I trained staff in data collection, cleansing, analyzing, and disseminating best practices. Additionally, I assisted the organization in developing and implementing a transfer to a new CRM/AMS.

At Wells Fargo, I managed access requests to two research portals (i.e. Factset and Visible Alpha) that housed Wells Fargo Equity Research to ensure that all requesters for WF research were MiFID compliant and had completed all internal pre-requisite steps; number of requesters per day could range from 50-500.

As Executive Assistant to the CEO at IDA, I monitored the progress of numerous projects led by various departments. The projects involved new processes and practices, which required encouraging the buy-in from full-time staff.

At the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), I streamlined a data collection and cleansing process that updated information in their constituent database of approximately 150,000 members. This streamlining reduced data input time from one month to one day.

I compiled and analyzed school meal and staffing data for the Office of Food and Nutrition Services in City Schools. At the time, every student was offered two free meals every school day, regardless of household income. These services had to be captured in systems to submit to MSDE and, subsequently, to the federal government for accountability purposes. As such, clean, accurate, and actionable data was paramount.

I taught adults returning to the classroom to pursue their GED and advance their computer literacy skills. While I focused much of my GED Prep curriculum on Math, I also made sure to include reading, social studies and science knowledge in our conversations. I did this in order to show the numerous connections there are between the seemingly different fields.

In partnership with the District of Columbia's Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), I worked to strengthen the implementation the Special Education Data System for all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in Washington DC.

I collected and analyzed quantitative data on out-of-school suspension rates in Maryland and its counties and prepared factsheets on said data for public dissemination. Additionally, I researched intervention models for disruptive classroom behavior and in-school fighting. I also assisted the Director of the program with research and administrative tasks and participated in the newly formed Baltimore City School Safety Workgroup. In-home 1:1 ABA therapy and head teacher for children with autism ranging in age from 2 to 12 years old. Worked closely with parents to establish goals including acquisition of language, social, play, academic, motor, and self-help skills. Designed and implemented curriculum and behavior management plans. Collected qualitative and quantitative data on each session. Trained other therapists in discrete trial method. Accompanied clients on community outings.
