I have now taken on a new role as Artist Liaison of our Local Artists with Disabilities program. As Artist Liaison, I work with our Local Artist committee to propose artists for the upcoming quarter, handle artist program administrative work, plan artist markets a few times a year and communicate directly with our artists. This role combines two big passions of mine: being creative and advocating for individuals with disabilities. I also am still a Manager at Esteamed, primarily working our evening social events for adults with disabilities in our community. As a manager, I am able to work directly with our employees with varying disabilities in our workforce development program and help our management team implement goals. Our key belief is that everyone is capable, so it is our job to give them the tools they need to grow.

Ellen Brewer House (EBH) is an on-site work-study program at Meredith College and is an infant/toddler education program serving children aged 6 weeks-2 years old. While at EBH, I observed infants and toddlers development and interactions, as well as assisted their care. This included maintaining developmentally appropriate practices and care, maintaining confidentiality, and building all types of child development skills.
