Managing AI projects and tool implementation

Responsible for managing multiple projects across the food group, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to reduce the cost of goods. Including managing the creation of a new pillar of manufacturing excellence which had a new transformative way of working to enable significant cost savings

Managed the commercial and product aspects of the Ocado merger to enable a successful launch of M&S products onto the Ocado websites, including significant price savings

Responsible for sourcing, purchasing and implementing new innovative ideas into the business. Own the process from tendering all the way to roll-outs into 760 stores. This role included working closely with many stakeholders in the business making sure that communication and expectations were clear for all involved

Had the opportunity to learn the three areas of Supply Chain within Lidl. Quickly took over the assortment team for North London. Roles & Responsibilities involved forecasting stock requirements, stock management and problem solving with suppliers & national issues such as the CO2 crisis that hit Europe. Stakeholder management was key especially with the Warehouse and I spent time learning the logistics operation to ensure great service to our 'internal' customers - the stores.

During the first six months of the graduate scheme I rotated around the different business areas such as sales, supply chain and consultancy. This allowed me to gain a unique insight into how a large co-operation like Computacenter works. During the last six months I have been a delivery project manager in a Project Management Office, running my own projects ranging from network changes, national software rollouts to hardware deployments with very short timescales. I am currently a deployment manager in the financial sector, completing telephony migrations on a national scale

During my role at House of Fraser I was responsible for achieving sales targets in the fragrance department, whilst maintaining stock levels and being customer aware. Additionally due to the location of the fragrance department I also had to adapt to manage the different beauty counters as and when necessary, and due to my level of competence with the products and team members I was often left to look after the beauty department when the appropriate management wasn't available.

During my time at university I was a student advisor with the legal advice centre, within this role I was having meetings with clients, drafting advice letters and researching on areas of law I had no previous knowledge of. This helped develop my verbal and oral communication skills as there could be delicate matters clients needed help with and the professionalism needed when drafting legal letters is greater than that which is needed for academic writing

I have utilised my customer skills in a different environment and have consistently achieved sales targets and KPI’s, I have always been in the top three performers for sales of product and care plans, I have achieved this by using effective questioning and active listening techniques, ensuring that the customers needs are understood and the right product supplied to meet those needs. Due to the fast paced nature of technology I have attended various training courses to ensure I am up to date. I have undertaken additional responsibilities in this role such as creating an incentive scheme for my co-workers with the objective of achieving individual and store targets

Within this role I have to assist customers in purchasing the right products for their high-value kitchen, bedroom or bathroom projects. Extensive and up-to-date product product knowledge is essential in aiding customers with their choices. I have undertaken extra responsibilities with administrative tasks such as creating a new fling system, creating new POS and making sure picking notes are completed. Day to day jobs include answering the telephone in a professional manner, completing customer orders, resolving issues with any orders, assisting customers around the store and using assorted computer system such as Microsoft excel, word and other varying internal system.
