I worked with the director to workshop different events and programming and developed our annual calendar. I was also responsible for posting on social media and editing and publishing our monthly newsletter through MailChimp. Throughout I updated and improved the website, including adding interviews and articles about our residents and mentors.

Mainly I worked with artists through the recruitment, submission, acceptance, and interview process. Typically, I would be simultaneously working on the different stages with two or more exhibitions to maintain the gallery's exhibition cycle. I was also tasked with writing/editing curatorial notes for the annual catalog and helped curate virtual exhibitions on ArtSteps.

After being promoted to assistant manager, I used leadership skills to effectively communicate between the serving staff, customers, and kitchen staff. This required multitasking under extreme pressure within a fast paced environment. At the end of each shift, I was responsible for payouts and balancing the restaurant's banks.

As a server, I was expected to maintain a positive attitude towards my customers and coworkers despite extreme stress. I was also responsible for helping train new servers in waiting procedures and customer service skills.
