Working as a play therapist and registered with the British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT). I use play therapy in a creative way to help nursery-aged children in Brent who need support with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.I use creative and child-centred play therapy sessions focusing primarily on facilitating play, arts, music and movement and helping children to express and understand the challenges they are experiencing. I work with children (including Looked After Children) who are struggling with past trauma, as well as those who have been abused or neglected or experienced loss through bereavement, family breakdown or separation. I can also support children who have witnessed violence or substance abuse or have other unmet emotional needs.
