I have been a professional writer and editor for more than 20 years. I spent more than 15 years working in the newspaper industry, mostly with military command-information publications, and served as the editor of Soundoff! at Fort Meade, Maryland, and as assistant editor of The Citizen in Stuttgart, Germany.
