Since August 2015, I have worked in Finance at Dell Financial Services (DFS), the financing captive of Dell Technologies. My DFS work experience includes pricing, project management, finance controller, and sales strategy & planning roles. The DFS mission is to:- Deliver technology financing solutions that enable and enrich the Dell Technologies customer & partner experience- Develop financial products for consumers, small & medium businesses, public & government agencies, and large corporations (ex: leases, loans, PC as a Service, Flex on Demand, Dell Business Credit, Dell Preferred Account)- Generate interest income and end of lease income which is incremental Operating Income for Dell Technologies Business UnitsPrior to August 2015, I completed Dell's Finance Development Program (FDP), a 2-year program with four six-month rotations, and then joined Dell Financial Services (DFS). About Dell's Finance Development Program: Program participants are encouraged to choose a corporate, segment, and global operations role for a broad experience. Each role is meant to develop a different skill set and introduce FDPs to managers and executives in different areas of the company. The program is supplemented by exams that cover accounting, finance, and internal Dell policies, case studies, market simulations, global conferences, and networking events with vice presidents.
