I assist customers in locating the products they are searching for. If my particular store did not carry that item I contact sister stores to inquire about their inventory on the item. I would also suggest similar items to suit the customer’s needs. My duties also pertained to opening and closing the store through a series of paperwork through each shift worked. Assigning and displaying sale items in a orderly and easy viewing manner. My tasks also pertained to checking and responding to emails and answering telephones.

I provided exceptional customer service while assisting customers in finding products. I practiced the company's sale initiative of up selling by providing the customer with options even if they only came for a specific item. Suggesting accessories to better complement or prolong the life of the customers products was also part of my job. Once secured in the sale and the customer was ready to check out I would start by suggesting our loyalty card which provided coupons and sales information. Before sending the customer on their way I always thanked them for coming and suggested they come again soon. My duties also pertained to training oncoming cashiers in how to use the computer system efficiently and correctly. I trained the oncoming cashiers to also effectively open and close the registers by correctly counting the money and filling out the paperwork to ensure responsibility. Occasionally I would type the outgoing product paperwork into the computer system in order to keep and electronic file of incoming and outgoing products. Lastly, I would answer phones and answer customer questions.
