Current program manager at the Iowa Primary Care Association. Since 1988, the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA) has provided technical assistance and training to Iowa’s community health centers to support their ongoing commitment to provide quality, affordable primary and preventive health care to meet community needs.Collaborate with others on multiple projects and assist in the execution of several grants that assist Iowa's community health centers. Part of a deliberate and proactive team that works with health center staff towards our shared vision of health equity for all. Former public school teacher with experience in mentoring and training new to the profession teachers, leading professional and learning development for over 100 adults, serving as a curriculum leader for my department, and other leadership responsibilities such as a coach and leader for different building level teams. Former experience serving as an administrator for the Saturday recovery program, developing courses for an online format, and developing curriculum for over ten different courses including a new district course on equity, diversity, and inclusion. I believe in the importance of connection and clear goals in order to encourage people to perform their very best. In order to determine how effective I have been, I utilize data analysis in order to determine what I might need to spend more time on, and where I should go next in my instruction.
