I am a USAF veteran of 24 years. I spent a combined time of 13 years in the medical field as a surgical assistant. I separated from active duty for a short time to pursue nursing and decided that wasn't as fulfilling as I originally thought so I did a complete 360 career paths and became a Flight attendant in the Reserves. We served the corporate world of politics and world leaders, visiting dignitaries and on rare occasion were able to host transiting military units. I have traveled the world and because of consistent military training and evaluations, I consider myself, and my fellow Air Force flight attendants to be the top 1% of the aviation industry of all forms of cabin attendants. We have extensive training from field evasion and survival to surviving captivity and hostage situations to white glove table service and culinary arts taught by the Culinary Institute of America and refreshed annually.
