  • Benedictine University
    Student
    Benedictine University Jun 2019 - Jun 2021
RELEVANT COURSE PROJECTSCreated a Training Needs Analysis –(TNA) In collaboration with my teammate we created a TNA for a company. For my part, I spoke with the supervisor of the company and asked them several questions regarding their training procedures. I clarified with the supervisor how their team was maintaining their KSAs and what they felt could benefit them in a training program. My teammate and I used the data we collected to create a TNA for the company and provide a full training program and proposal to present to our class.HR’s Role within an Organization- Risk management and Covid’s effect on the organization- As a group of four we were to determine how HR affects the organization. Using critical thinking we decided to use our group member's company and used her experience of changes that were occurring within her office due to Covid-19 as the country was entering quarantine. We were able to link her position in risk management to HR and the effects of quarantine on her department, the company itself, and their clients. We determined that HR would work side by side with Risk management to help combat fraud to customers and maintain employee’s safety by working from home. Project Management- Group Dynamics- The project was to work with a group of 4 and outline 4 chapters within our class book. The group was to create a PowerPoint slide for each chapter assigned. Chosen as the project manager on this project, I split the chapters up and assigned one team member to create the PowerPoint. I set dates for each person to meet with me regarding each stage of the outline. I followed up with each member and provided dates for their PowerPoint submissions to be completed. Once all submissions were made, we presented our chapters to the class and received a 100% for our project.
