The Lincoln Square Group is a policy, research and public affairs consulting firm helping government and business partners solve complex development challenges through data-driven strategies.

• Oversaw staff of five and 30+ programs and initiatives, including statewide initiatives and conferences, early college programs, standardized testing and assessments, scholarship programs and tools and technologies that promote postsecondary completion. Responsible for development and implementation of all Districtwide postsecondary and career awareness, access, readiness and retention initiatives.• Managed the development of data-driven tools, including postsecondary education feedback reports, an online system to measure District of Columbia student postsecondary outcomes, secure site for high schools to access critical academic data on incoming high school freshman and an innovate tool allowing high school staff to see student-level Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) completion in real time.• Coordinated all internal and external data analysis and research on behalf of the division.• Co-chaired Raise DC's Postsecondary Access and Completion Change Network for the District of Columbia, including setting the strategic direction for a network of local education agencies, community-based organizations and college access providers responsible for increasing postsecondary enrollment and completion for DC residents.• Served as programmatic contributor for the development of the District of Columbia STAR accountability framework for all DC public and public charter schools.

• Managed Workforce Development Bureau, including: Office of Youth Programs, Unemployment Compensation, Program Performance Monitoring, One Stop Operations, Project Empowerment, Office of Employer Services, Office of Strategic Partnerships and Office of Apprenticeships.• Managed scheduling, messaging, meeting and hearing preparation, and overall agency management.• Managed federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act dollars on behalf of the agency.• Oversaw data-driven, performance-based management and reporting system.• Served as the Director’s representative in carrying out the 2010 Summer Youth Employment Program, which included managing day-to-day operations and maintaining performance levels.• Developed grant-making policies for the agency and served as the representative to the Office of City Administrator for grant-making compliance.

• Recruited and managed 70+ nonprofit partners to provide programs and services within recreation facilities across the District of Columbia.• Created and implemented partner evaluation system to ensure quality and effective programming for District residents.• Identified and cultivated donor relationships to significantly donations. • Assisted with agency-wide Revenue Enhancement Task Force to identify smarter business practices and additional revenue sources.• Independently crafted policies governing the creation, maintenance and use of community-operated and maintained District properties.

• Researched best practices and created a new community grants program that connected 1,500+ DC children to the Anacostia River in its first year. Oversaw the administration of the program, including drafting RFPs, managing selection process, working closely with nonprofit partners on capacity building issues, and ensuring compliance with rules and policies governing the program.• Managed grant agreement with multiple nonprofit partners to develop fundraising plan, design environmental education programming, provide interim and long-term improvements and create the organizational and operating structure for Kingman and Heritage Island.• Created nonprofit subsidiary to the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation.
