Performs advanced administrative duties in support of the Sheriff, Chief Deputy, and Sheriff’s Office employees that require independent judgment and specialized knowledge within the informational services function of the Sheriff’s Office. Responsibilities include civil process administration, processes State firearms permits, and serves as an evidence technician along with the Chief Deputy. Other duties include technical and administrative support involving law enforcement records, criminal justice databases, data processing, filing, operational reports, supervises grants, purchases supplies/equipment, maintains office records, manages software programs, interacts with staff, external agencies, and the general public, and other duties as required. This position manages the fiscal operations of the Sheriff’s Office under the direction of the Sheriff. Served as project manager for RMS transition to new system, continued work as RMS expert.
