• Manage CHPP team to achieve annual targets in safety, environment, production and costs• Manage CHPP operations, maintenance, contractors and optimize plant performance and efficiency• Fulfill the statutory obligations of CHPP Manager and Rail Infrastructure Manager (RIM)• Develop collaborative relationships with the local community, government, internal and external stakeholders• Ensure CHPP operations comply with all government approvals and guidelines• Develop an outward-looking, customer focused, competitor-aware performance culture• Implement highly effective operations management systems, contractor management systems and logistics management systems• Lead the CHPP Process team to develop, manage and implement process improvement programs and also take the lead in developing an overall business improvement program for the CHPP department taking into account the global business context.• Demonstrate a high concern for the health and safety of self and others • Assist with hazard identification in the workplace.• Interpersonal style that demonstrates a commitment to team work, leadership and collaboration• Self-motivated Professional and Committed approach• People management skills• Superior written, verbal communication skills• Strong analytical and problem solving skills• Lead the Process Engineering team to provide process improvement recommendations, initiatives and implementation plans to support the business.• Develop the team to be autonomous and flexible to deliver value across the two sites.• Managing the development and implementation of capital improvement projects;• Provide technical expertise for the optimisation and continuous improvement of the CHPP’s• Support the CHPP Manager to ensure the safe operation of the CHPP and coal handling facilities.• Effective project management through leadership of contractors and process team
