Prior to working at Brightmine, I practiced law for ten years defending clients in a variety of cases, including employment-related matters involving harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims, as well as the enforcement of restrictive covenants. I began my career at Brightmine as a Legal Editor tracking employment law legislation on recruiting and hiring issues and then shifted to covering leave-related topics, such as FMLA, paid sick leave, as well as disabilities and accommodations. As a legal editor, I was a frequent presenter of Brightmine webinars on employee leaves. In addition, my insights have been featured in various publications, including Scary Mommy. I currently work on the Policy Solutions team focusing on Brightmine’s Automated Handbook Solution- a first-of-its-kind employee handbook solution- ensuring that our customers have the most up-to-date and legally compliant policies so that they can stay on top of the fast moving employment landscape.For more than 20 years, Brightmine™, formerly XpertHR, has worked with over 10,000 customers, partners, and employees, innovating with new technology and getting to know what shapes the world’s most successful businesses and workforces.
