My work experience has taught me impeccable interpersonal skills and customer satisfaction techniques. My professional journey began at a small animal hospital, where I was trained as a veterinary technician. This experience prepared me for management roles, and the ability to make educated decisions under pressure, which proved to be essential when I ventured into non profit, and social work. As a case manager, I celebrated diversity, and tailored my case plans to suit every family’s beliefs, values, and circumstances. It was especially rewarding to see children and families accomplish goals, after being provided necessary tools, education, and resources to succeed. I left my role in case management to secure a position on the inside sales team at a reputable lighting company. It was in this role that I became more efficient in use of computer software, such as Salesforce, Quickbooks & Excel. However, the most valuable education I gained while working for Next Generation Lighting was how to successfully operate a small business. I learned that there is no obstacle that cannot be overcome if you think critically and creatively when problem solving, and that customer satisfaction will both retain existing clientele, and attract new clients. Using all of my prior education, experience, communication skills & adaptability, I expanded my own small business exponentially. I look forward to using my existing skills, and acquiring even more knowledge in a role within a company that has a professional, friendly atmosphere that values their team members. I feel that this role will satisfy my passion to continually learn and grow, and provide the career longevity that I seek.
