While I do have a terminal degree, my career has not been that of the traditional academic. My path includes work in a variety of settings ranging from nonprofits and private corporations to military service and higher education. Distance education and career decision-making have both been central to my employment and professional development goals - I am always looking for opportunities to combine these areas. My background includes working in higher education student services as a career specialist and academic advisor, and as an instructor for first-year students. I completed my PhD in Instructional Technology, focusing on adult education and online career services, at the University of South Florida.
