My role included: - Identifying high-value opportunities that were previously hidden through long-held beliefs about what existing assets could accomplish (e.g. "we've never cranked that filler beyond 60 gallons per minute." vs. "Ok, what happens if we turn it to 61? Does it explode?")- Solving complex technical and organizational problems to achieve step-change (10-50%) improvements - Coaching site & divisional leadership to confront the challenges that hinder improvement within their organizations. A few of my teams in the Canadian Oil Sands achieved $10mm+ in improvements. One team in particular, increasing throughput of steam generators in a SAGD facility, achieved over $200mm in lifetime payback (calculated by the senior client).
