I am the host, producer, and developer of Origin Stories, The Leakey Foundation's podcast about human evolution. Origin Stories was a finalist in the 2016 Science Media Awards.

I develop and implement communications strategies.I analyze data and create meaningful social media reports to inform future strategies and review past performance.I created, host, and produce an award-nominated podcast.I manage department staff.I develop and maintain relationships and collaborations with people at other institutions and organizations. I produce creative content for social media.I manage multiple ongoing projects.

I plan a nationwide public lecture series, with 8-10 lectures per year at museums including the San Francisco Academy of Sciences, The American Museum of Natural History in New York City, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and the Field Museum in Chicago.Along with our Communications Director, I work to promote events through social media and other channels.I establish and maintain partnerships and collaborate with other institutions and organizations.I plan and implement a school science outreach program called Leakey Learning Expeditions in schools nationwide.I am working on producing pilot episodes of a podcast for The Leakey Foundation.I assist our Executive Director in planning and executing fundraising events.

I designed, planned, and coordinated events in a collaborative and creative environment. I was responsible for brand development, marketing, and web design. I developed and maintained relationships with industry media and helped increase our brand awareness.I managed projects and worked with clients and vendors to keep projects running smoothly and within budget.We produced social events, weddings, non-profit and corporate events with a wide range of budgets, and guest counts in the thousands. Some of our large events included Auction Napa Valley Marketplace 2011 and 2012, the Knot Magazine's 2011 Bay Area Industry Party, Sunset Magazine's Celebration Weekend, and multiple fundraising events for The Leakey Foundation.
