Hi, my name is Meredith Miles, and I am a recent Sport Management graduate from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I graduated with high honors of Summa Cum Laude, and have been recognized by Sigma Beta Delta Honors Society for my outstanding scholastic achievement. Currently, I am a Masters student studying Sport Management from the University of Florida. As a Campus Recreation Events Assistant, I coordinated and executed multiple events for various sports, including wrestling, volleyball, snowboarding, and skiing. My responsibilities included equipment set-up, communication with vendors and participants, managing registration, and collaboration with colleagues to develop new ideas for event efficiency.Previously, I served as the Director of Operations for Men's DII Hockey at Liberty University, where I coordinated all aspects of team operations, including player tracking, personnel, scheduling assistance, and team correspondence. I also managed game day operations, coordinated team travel arrangements, and assisted with social media and marketing efforts to promote team events and activities.In addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered as a Men's Volleyball volunteer at Liberty University, where I assisted with game-day organization, set-up, and tear-down. I also participated in a Future Career Panel for the Liberty University School of Business, where I shared my personal experience and insights about the sport management degree and answered questions from high school seniors.I possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and am proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite. I am familiar with sports management principles and practices, including NCAA regulations and guidelines, team travel protocols, and game-day operations. I am passionate about pursuing a career in the sports industry and am excited to bring my skills and experience to new opportunities.
