Served as the communications liaison between multiple City departments and Mill Creek residents. Responsibilities included drafting press releases and official statements on behalf of the City, publishing a quarterly print publication for residents, participating in a variety of community groups (i.e. Chamber of Commerce) to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and local businesses, and supporting the implementation of annual community events.

As the PR Account Coordinator for Hayter Communications (a subsidiary of Williams Helde Inc.), I supported the public relations efforts of multiple outdoor lifestyle brands, including lululemon men, Danner (of Lacrosse footwear), Helly Hansen, K2 Sports and Raleigh Bicycles. I had the unique opportunity to work directly underneath the agency's PR Director, learning how to effectively pitch media, fulfill editorial inquiries, track earned coverage and successfully execute trade shows/special media events.
