I have always been someone who genuinely enjoys helping others. Whether that meant small tasks - such as helping my family around the house, or much larger tasks - such as overseeing my high school’s annual free Veteran’s Day breakfast. My life goal and mission is to use my knowledge and ability to be a light in the life of the people around me and to better my surrounding community. In high school, I was heavily involved in community service. I was a proud member of National Honor Society, Student Council, and Link Crew. These leadership positions taught me the true value of service that betters the people around me. Outside of school, I am an active member of Children of the American Revolution, of which I am the current Ohio President. As President, it is my job to create a year-long service project to benefit the entire state. My project is raising funds to benefit Ohio History Connection, so that all Ohioans can enjoy the places of historical importance cared for by OHC. My point of writing about these projects is to solidify the fact that I am very community conscious and want to continue dedicating my life to the betterment of society as a whole. I very deeply identify with the desire to dedicate my life to service. I have two overarching lifetime career goals. The first of these two goals is becoming a lawyer to serve as an advocate for justice within my community. The second goal is quite similar, but on a larger scale - I want to become a politician who is 100% for the betterment of society and who caters to the people I will serve. I am looking for an opportunity that will prepare me to fulfill my life goal of helping the people within my community by using my knowledge and ability to the greatest extent.
