Continue to monitor copyright infringements in conjunction with the Publisher's Association.Significant expertise in ONIX 2.1, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of bibliographic data to RSC's trade partners and to information providers (e.g. Nielsen Book Data, OCLC, Bowker, Thomson Reuters). Gained BIC Basic Accreditation for ONIX for the RSC.

I presented an annual, two-hour seminar on “Bibliographic Data in the Book Industry” to the MA Publishing students at Anglia Ruskin University.I was on the advisory board for the degree programme, contributing to the development of the course.

Completed the last 12 months of a 36-month project investigating sulfur transformations in plants and arable soils using stable and radio isotopes of suflur. Time was the main challenge in this project. I worked quickly to gather the information needed to take over this already-established research project (background information on sulfur, field experiments and laboratory procedures already in place).Key achievements:Completion of experiemental work / data acquistion within timeframe.Recuitment and management of laboratory assistant.Development of novel method for determination of 34S in soil.
