• Price analysis sources included Bloomberg, IDC, and State Street Global Advisors’ proprietary databases. Types of securities under supervision ranged from standard issue stock and bonds to swaps, options, and warrants
• If myself or any other team members modified a price in MSIM’s database, that change would directly reflect what Morgan Stanley traders located in the New York, London, and Singapore regions would see in their.
• Ran programs and queries in parallel in an effort to improve the efficiency of the more time consuming processes, such as cross referencing current prices from the three data sources listed above
• Another team member and I created a macro that would run a VLOOKUP in reference to the sources’ data versus ours. Being as heavy as it was computationally the process took some time to complete, however this allowed us.
