I was contracted as a video editor and camera operator for theICTV community news team in Alice Springs, NT. I work within a teamproducing news and current affairs programming which provides national,regional and local information to remote aboriginal communities. TheCommunity News is presented in simple English as well as CentralAustralian languages such as Warlpiri, Western Aranda and Pitjantjatjara.My role involves working with our news journalist, producers, graphicdesigners and community engagement team to shoot and edit our newsprogramming, which involves filming events, capturing press conferences,interviews and b-roll to produce and edit news story packages which arethen presented to camera in English and translated in language by ourindigenous news anchors in a studio look-live program which is thenedited by myself to include other contributor stories, community weatherand sports reports.

I was responsible for Video and Photography production to support marketing campaigns for RMIT University. My role included coordinating and producing digital media assets to meet the needs of RMIT’s annual marketing cycles for RMIT Communications, Student Recruitment and Global Marketing. My key accountabilities were to shoot and edit video and photography to meet campaign briefs and channel needs, work in collaboration with key stakeholders to maintain and develop digital media assets across RMIT, ensure RMIT’s video and photographic assets complied with brand and privacy guidelines, manage digital video and photography assets, establish and maintain a central media repository for key stakeholders, act as the key liaison with external digital media partners and review and conduct testing of digital media formats to ensure it meets RMIT University marketing standards, guidelines and legal obligations.

My role as a Video Editor/Camera Operator in the Creative Studio at The Royal Children’s Hospital is to work closely with the video team to shoot, edit and produce video programs and recordings of a health/educational/promotional nature for internal RCH communications, other RCH departments and external health organisations to help educate, inform and motivate health consumers, health practitioners and the public. I am also responsible for the production of in-house television programs such the ‘Be Positive’ and ‘Hospital Lingo’ shows and provide audio-visual and video conferencing technical support to staff at the RCH.My role involves taking on briefs, liaising with clients, creative concept development, script writing and pre-production. I have a proven strong set of technical skills in audio-visual production and post production including talent directing, camera operating, lighting design, sound recording, audio production, non-linear editing systems including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut and DaVinci Resolve, colour grading, live multi-camera switching including integration with live systems including Facebook Live and Zoom, online video formatting and publishing, A/V tech support, clinical video recordings, including patient assessments and surgical procedures.
