Current• Supervise services and operations of a rural library; including information, circulation,outreach, and programming services.• Direct and evaluate the work of 6 employees.• Assist patrons with information and research needs, readers' advisory questions, and locating materials.• Assist patrons in using computers and accessing digital resources.• Develop branch and oversee goals to support the systemwide strategic plan.• Maintain a Seed Library collection and support… Show more • Supervise services and operations of a rural library; including information, circulation,outreach, and programming services.• Direct and evaluate the work of 6 employees.• Assist patrons with information and research needs, readers' advisory questions, and locating materials.• Assist patrons in using computers and accessing digital resources.• Develop branch and oversee goals to support the systemwide strategic plan.• Maintain a Seed Library collection and support other branches starting new Seed Library collections.• Plan and run programs for a variety of ages including early learning activities for youth ages 0-5, teen space, STEAM for school-aged kids, art and craft programs for adults, and the Summer Lunch program for youth.• Partner with local organizations such as the Lions Club and the Rio Linda Grange, a community organization rooted in agriculture.• Attend community outreach events such as Farm and Tractor Days, Zucchini Races, Grange Plant Sale, and School Nights.
