I am the owner/operator of Spike Construction, LLC, located in the beautiful Clearwater Valley in Idaho.I took on my first job in construction at the age of 15, driven by a strong sense of responsibility to support my family during the founding of their business, Westfield Studios—an educational curriculum company. Initially, I worked as a laborer at Wilson Construction, where I gained practical experience in tasks such as cleaning, framing, cutting, teamwork, digging, and rough carpentry. Over time and by working with different companies, I honed my skills and expanded into residential and commercial construction, eventually becoming a job site foreman at a local construction company with around 15 employees, Hicks Quality Homes Construction.Alongside my construction career, I developed a love for woodworking as well as acquired skills in graphic design and video editing. I still dedicate part of my time to assisting Westfield Studios, where I contribute to marketing, website management, advertising, and graphic design. I have extensive experience using Adobe Photoshop, and I am steadily improving my proficiency in other Adobe and Microsoft programs.At the age of 18, I obtained my National Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) Basic Certification. This allowed me to become a volunteer medic at Kooskia Ambulance, where I had the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives during their moments of need. It has been a fulfilling endeavor for me over the nearly 20 years of service in this field.I took a 5-and-a-half-year detour from construction as a full-time career and gained valuable professional experience by working for four years as a detention deputy in the Idaho County Jail. Subsequently, I served as a Patrol Deputy for the Sheriff of Idaho County in Grangeville, Idaho for 1 1/2 years. These roles provided me with comprehensive training and expertise in conflict resolution, community involvement, public relations, legal systems, civil processes, tactical and firearms operations, crime awareness, public safety, domestic issues, crime prevention, and more. I firmly believe in my ability and duty to keep my community safe, which drives me to continuously better myself through physical and mental training.I left Law Enforcement as a career path to spend more time with my growing family and be more involved in their lives. After leaving law enforcement I started Spike Construction, LLC.In all aspects of my life or any job I undertake, my mission remains simple: to keep moving forward and improve the lives of those around me.
