Welcome. My name is Micah Williams, and I am based in Sydney, Australia. Photography, creative direction, styling, fine arts, writing - these practices all figure into the equation, but none are necessarily the answer. My passion for the abstract often intersects with my critiquing of culture, philosophy or the human experience itself. During my time at university, my creativity and conceptual thinking have been pushed and stretched consistently. Being employed in the fashion industry at both a street and luxury level has equipped me with a strong ability to observe and create in accordance with the trends in culture. Drawing on the past to comment on the current and inform the future is common practice in this industry, and is something I have taken on and developed to guide all of my creative endeavours. Armed with the skills and insights I have cultivated in both of these spheres, I am eager to create work that is thought provoking, aesthetically appealing and inspiring.
